Dear All,

After a long and distinguished career with us Simon (Birch) has decided to take early retirement and will leave the Company in September this year.

 

I would, most sincerely, like to thank Simon for his hard work, dedication, enthusiasm, and acumen during his time with us. 

 

He will be sorely missed, not only by me, but by clients, employees, suppliers and everyone who has come to know him over the years.

 

I'm sure you, like me, would like to wish Simon a long, happy, and healthy retirement and thank him once again for all he has done.

 

On another note, Simon's position will need filling. Whoever was appointed as the new Managing director certainly has some big boots to fill.

 

After considering the position for quite a while with Simon, we had a number of options available to us.

 

After ruling out the various options one by one, there was really only one logical appointment we could take.

 

Over the years, there has been one employee who has stood out, even from an early age, as an apprentice. he was not afraid to take on responsibility and has shown strong leadership qualities during his time with us. His progression has been quite remarkable but that is down to his own dedication, hard work, and foresight in his daily duties.

 

I am therefor delighted to announce that John Lloyd has been appointed the position of Contracts Director and will take the role of the Managing Director in September.

 

I'm sure you will give John all your support and, like me, wish him every sucess in his new role.
