Vale Decorators UK Limited demonstrates an overriding commitment to Health and Safety. All Health & Safety is outsourced to a professional, external body who oversee the day to day Health & Safety operations of the company.

Our Health and Safety Management System is audited to ISO 18001 standards. We have continuously  held this accreditation since June 2009. 

Our Health & Safety service providers produce and maintain our health and safety policies, procedures, site specific risk assessments and method statements. All employees are fully inducted on these Policies and Procedures at commencement of employment and ongoing training is provided on a continuous basis, via site inductions, toolbox talks, in-house training and any changes to legislation.

All senior Contracts Staff are responsible to assess the training requirements of all our employees ensuring that all staff are competent to carry out their duties, including but not limited to, IOSH Managing Safely, First Aid, Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, PASMA and Working at Height Training.

Vale Decorators have numerous First Aiders throughout the organisation.

We have achieved the following Health and Safety Accrediations. Construction Skills Certificate Scheme Platinum status (over 95% of operatives and management holding relevant CSCS Card), Contractors Health and Safety Scheme (CHAS), SAFEcontractor and Constructionline.
